World Book Day

WORLD BOOK DAY

Sonny had a letter from nursery to say that everyone was dressing up for World Book Day and there would be a competition for best dressed. I got so excited as this was our first dressing up experience for nursery.
I looked on the internet for dressing up book day ideas for toddlers. I came up with the idea of 'Funny Bones' and thought we could just re use Sonny's Halloween outfit. I remember this book from when I was younger.
Here are a few photos from the day

We also filmed a DITL on World Book Day and here is the link if you would like to go along to YouTube and check it out.

Mummy has a PAMPER DAY

SPA DAY AT BISHOPSTROW HOUSE

I think every mummy deserves a pamper day every now and then. I decided to book a day off work and treat myself to a spa day at a local hotel. I had a voucher given to me from work, so I used this which made it a free day.

I went along to the Bishopstrow Hotel in Warminster which is part of the Longleat Group. Me and Darren have been here a couple times before and you may have seen this in past vlogs on my YouTube channel 'Bexmorts'.

I dropped Sonny off to nursery then quickly done the weekly food shop and then headed off for my relaxation day.

I took along the latest issue of the Gurlge magazine and I am also reading a book at the moment so took that along also. As I was going on my own I wanted things to keep my occupied.

I decided to go along on my own as I find this more relaxing.

I went for a swim and Jacuzzi then headed for a sun lounger and chilled out and done some reading.

I had my rasul mud therapy room treatment as 1pm, this was mud all over the body where you sat in the steam room then showered. After this is was lunch time.

I had a two course lunch included with my voucher.

Starter was cauliflower and blue cheese soup, so yummy.

Main was a tomato and mozzarella risotto.

The food was delicious and I also treated myself to a lovely glass of white wine.

I chilled out for a little more at the pool and went for another swim.

I really enjoyed my relaxation day at this spa. The spa is lovely and I would recommend it to anybody who lives local or anybody planning on visiting Wiltshire/Bath area. This spa just has a relaxing atmosphere to it.

Every mum should take time out to relax and if you can’t make it to the spa do a home spa when the children are not around. It makes a huge different to the way you feel.

What do you do to relax as a mummy?
